Katy | Owner + Instructor

I’m a fully certified STOTT Pilates instructor with over 10 years’ teaching experience, creating thoughtful, tailored classes for each individual client. With over 20 years of Pilates practice and a background in dance and musical theatre, I was first introduced to Pilates through ballet training and have loved it ever since.

After teaching at leading London studios, including One KX, I’m now based in Chalkwell, Essex, offering private and group classes around Leigh-on-Sea. I’m also a mum of two and a natural multitasker, and when I’m not teaching, I enjoy seaside walks with my dog or heading to a local yoga class to unwind.

Pilates has brought so many benefits to my life, from improving strength, flexibility and circulation to supporting digestion and nervous system regulation. It has even helped reduce my bloating symptoms from Crohn’s Disease and slow bowel transit. I trained in mat, reformer, and pre and post-natal Pilates to help others rebuild confidence and reconnect with their bodies.

I’ve been passionate about Pilates for nearly 20 years and qualified as a Level 3 instructor in 2017, later expanding into Reformer Pilates. With additional certifications in pre/post-natal Pilates and mindfulness, I support clients through every stage of life. I love creating classes that blend strength, mindful movement, and a sense of connection and enjoyment.

For me, movement is about mental maintenance, building body confidence, and committing to long-term wellbeing. My classes are carefully programmed to target the whole body with flow and balance, rooted in classical Pilates principles. I encourage clients to challenge themselves while also meeting their bodies with awareness, in a space that feels supportive and uplifting.

I’ve spent my entire adult life coaching and teaching, discovering Pilates around 20 years ago and quickly falling in love with it. I’ve now been teaching for 15 years, and it has supported my own mobility and flexibility alongside the demands I place on my body. I’m passionate about helping others experience these benefits in a way that feels right for them.
